Franchise Interview: Tim Boothman
Tim talks to us about his journey from corporate to becoming a franchisee. We start by learning what was going on for Tim in April 2017 when we met at a Vancouver franchise show and how he explored and weighed his options to ultimately select a service-based franchise. He shares how start-up compared to his expectations and the lessons he learned along the way (and what advice he has for those exploring franchise ownership).
There were some positive developments along the way, too. Tim’s wife, Sherry, decided to join the business. And after setting a new high watermark for a franchisee’s first-year revenue, he expanded his business by acquiring an additional territory.
Not only did I help Tim get into his Mr. Handyman franchise I was also his first customer too.
